Daily fix – The Ronin

Rob Chiu aka The Ronin is based in London and has worked for big clients such as Nokia,BBC, Greenpeace & channel 4. His short films have been featured in numerous film festivals gaining awards along the way. Not bad for a designer who was on my course before me. His films are truly mesmerising and leave me utterly dumbfounded. The Ronin has recently been seen working with Computer arts creating tutorials for us to follow and learn in his footsteps. Everyone’s a Graphic Designer

When I first saw this illustration I couldn’t help but chuckle to my self because it’s so true! everyone always has an opinion on what design is and I’m sure many other designers have come across this on many occasions.  The artist is Frank Chimero who has several quirky illustrations that certainly brightened up my working day view his latest creations at http://www.frankchimero.com

To be honest i’ve never seen the big attraction myself, all that money for something that usually look’s rubbish and costs me far to much, that was untill I saw these babys by NDEUR. I must get some of these if it’s the last thing I do, even if its just to put on a shelf and look at. They are amazing!!!
